Terms of Service
The plain-language rules for using ESGgyan. Last updated 11 June 2026.
1. What ESGgyan is — and what it is not
ESGgyan is a product of The Green Concept (“we”, “us”), a reference information service for India-focused ESG and climate compliance: curated summaries of regulations and frameworks, change alerts, comparison tools, and an AI assistant grounded in our corpus.
ESGgyan is not legal, financial, or compliance advice. Nothing on this site creates an adviser–client relationship. Before acting on any compliance decision, verify the information against the primary source (the notification, circular, gazette, rule, or framework document) and consult qualified professional counsel.
AI-generated answers and summaries can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. That is why every AI answer carries citations linking to primary sources — use them to verify before you rely on anything.
2. Subscriptions and billing
- The free tier lets you browse the corpus and use the AI tools within daily limits. The Pro plan costs ₹299 per month or ₹2,999 per year, billed through Razorpay via UPI Autopay e-mandate or card.
- You can cancel anytime from your account page. After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the paid billing period; no further charges are made.
- No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
- A GST invoice is issued for each charge.
- Prices may change; we will give at least 30 days notice before any change applies to you.
3. Acceptable use
When using ESGgyan you agree not to:
- scrape the site or bulk-export its content;
- resell or redistribute ESGgyan content, in whole or in part;
- share your account or credentials with others;
- make unreasonable use of AI quotas (automated or scripted querying);
- attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas, or plan restrictions.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Liability
All content is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on the content of this site, including AI-generated answers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of ESGgyan is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
5. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are notified via this site, and the “last updated” date below reflects the current version.
